Skillsfolio is a record-keeping and verification tool. Evidence marked "verified" reflects a trainer's professional assessment within the platform — it does not itself constitute a national certificate, qualification, or accreditation. Official certification remains governed by the relevant awarding body's own processes.
While institutions, coordinators, and the national administrator work to keep information (institutions, cohorts, trainer assignments) accurate and current, Skillsfolio is provided "as is" without warranty that all data is error-free at every moment.
Evidence, descriptions, messages, and testimonials submitted through Skillsfolio are provided by trainees and trainers themselves. The platform operator and participating institutions are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of material a user chooses to upload, beyond removing content that violates the Terms & Conditions when identified. Testimonials are reviewed before being published on the public landing page, but reflect the submitter's own words and experience, not a guarantee of typical results.
Where evidence links to an external YouTube video or a Google Drive file, that content is hosted by YouTube/Google and governed by their own terms — Skillsfolio only embeds or links to it for viewing and is not responsible for its availability, accessibility, or content. If a Google Drive link stops working (e.g. its sharing setting was changed), that's outside Skillsfolio's control.
Skillsfolio is provided on a best-effort basis. Planned maintenance, hosting issues, or connectivity problems may occasionally make the platform unavailable; we aim to keep such interruptions brief.
Premium subscriptions are processed by Paystack, an independent third-party payment provider. Skillsfolio is not responsible for outages, errors, or delays on Paystack's side; payment-specific issues (a failed or disputed charge, for instance) may need to be raised with Paystack directly, in addition to reaching out to us.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, Skillsfolio, including loss of evidence data, save where required by applicable law.
